Popular Malayalam and Tamil Actress Nithya Menon seems to be banned from the Malayalam Movies. As recently, two of her films Bachelor Party and Ustad Hotel have been directly affected. The Producers Council slapped the ban on her when she refused to meet some producers who had dropped in to discuss a project with her while she was shooting for a film, Tatsamayam Oru Penkutty.

But the Association of Actors and the exhibitors have stood by her saying that her behavior and conduct have been above shame. They added that actors and films should not be punished over petty issues.
