Ileana D'Cruz, the highest paid actress of South Indian film industry, was recently in the news after producer Mohan Natarajan alleged her of not returning his advance amount. The latest development in the case is that the actress is legally safe.

It has now been revealed that according to the contract, there is no need for Ileana to pay back the money. It is the producer, who failed to utilise her dates and wasted the same. In fact, the Producers' Council of Telugu films have already rejected his plea. Hence, he has now approached the Tamil Nadu Producers' Council.

Earlier, Mohan Natarajan filed a complaint against Ileana at Producers' Council alleging that she has not refunded the advance amount of Rs 40 lakhs, which she took to act in his last year film Deiva Thirumagal. He claims that the actress signed to act in his movie but as the plans in the crew changed, the Nanban girl could not act. She was later replaced by Anushka Shetty.
