Karthi is completely on busy schedule in his progressing movie Alex Pandian which is directed by Suraaj and expecting his comedy - action flick movie Saguni on April.. After this commitment, the sources expecting in his next movie with Velayudham fame director Jayam Raja. Karthi has signed up a project with Jayam Raja.

The director is working on a family subject and has roped in Karthi for the lead role. It is not immediately known if the film is a remake, as Jayam Raja is known for handing remakes well.
